Confirmation
Confirmation is a two-year process for our junior high students in 7th and 8th grades. Classes are offered on Sunday mornings, 9:15-10:30AM. Contact our Minister of Discipleship, Karl Fink for more information at kfink@bethanylutheran.org or call his office at (562) 421-4711, ext. 19.
Fall of 2010...
If you are interested in enrolling your child for Confirmation in the fall, please contact Karl Fink. Please email him your name, phone, contact email address, home address and your child's name with the grade he/she will be entering in September. Mr. Fink will be holding an Informational Meeting at the end of August (Year 1 meets 8/23 at 7PM; Year 2 meets 8/24 at 7PM; BOTH meetings are in the Youth Room). He will mail out to those who have contacted him an informational letter with the cost and registration materials. - Thank you!
If you are interested in enrolling your son/daughter in the Confirmation Program, please complete the three forms and bring with you to the meeting on August 23 or 24:
Confirmation classes...
In 2010, we were blessed to confirm 27 Year 2 Confirmation students. These young men and women made a public testimony to their faith, received a Bible verse & blessing, and are now, by God's grace, continuing active participation in the worship life of our congregation and Bible study with our Youth Group. I'd like to ask you to please take just a moment and lift this group in a prayer fo thanks to God for His work in these youth. At the same time, kindly offer a prayer for our Year 1 students & their families as they continue in their instruction and seek to maintain their own worship life. -Karl Fink

- Year 1 Class meets in Room 215 with Dr. Mary Fink
- Year 2 Class meets in Room 206 with Mr. Karl Fink
- Year 1 Parent Meeting on Monday, August 23, 2010 in the Youth Room at 7PM for the coming term.
- Year 2 Parent Meeting on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in the Youth Room at 7PM for the coming term.
