Vacation Bible School
Our Vacation Bible School program is offered yearly in the early part of the summer. This week long program of lessons, skits, crafts, singing, snacks and fun goes from 9:00 a.m. - noon and is routinely run by over 100 youth and adult volunteers from our church. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL IS NOW COMPLETE...
Thanks so much to all the wonderful volunteers who helped make this week a success! We are blessed to have over 230 children registered this year, and they were able to hear the Good News of Christ's BEE-utiful work while He walked among His people so many years ago. Thanks to each of you who also supported us with your prayers, tithes and offerings. What a blessing you are to this important ministry. -Karl Fink
Our VBS this year was...
It's time to get "Alive in the Hive" for Planet Zoom...Where Bold BEE-lievers ZIP, ZAP, and ZOOM for JESUS!
A beehive is a busy place. Builder bees make honey and honeycomb. Babies are born, grow up, and learn. Scouts and pollinators fly in and out. Bees stick together for the good of the hive, and every bee has a job to do. They come to the hive to eat, rest, and get ready to go back into the world to do their work. The daily stories for VBS will focus on BIZ-Z-ZY BEE-LIEVERS, AN UNBEE-LIEVABLE MEAL, AMAZ-Z-ZING CARE, A NEW BEE-GINNING, AND BEE FREE IN JESUS.
The theme verse comes from Ephesians 5:1-2,
"Be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us."
This year's VBS was June 21-25, 2010 from 9:00AM to NOON for those Ages 3 through 7th Grade.
