These applications are for students attending a college or university of our Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in preparation for a full-time career as a pastor, teacher, deaconess, youth director, social worker, lay missionary worker, medical missionary, or parish worker. Preparation Class for Receiving the Lord’s Supper:
Confirmation at Bethany is the means by which we prepare our youth for worthy reception of the Lord’s Supper. This portion of the Catechism is taught on Wednesday evenings during Lent. The class is intended for 5th & 6th graders who plan to be confirmed at the end of their 8th grade year; and this class will also be attended by 7th & 8th graders currently in our Confirmation classes that have not yet made it to the Communion Preparation course. The 5-week class is for both the student and at least ONE parent.
This year our sessions will begin on Wednesday, March 8 at 5:50PM (Room 202) and conclude on Wednesday, April 5. Each class will end in time for the student and their family to attend our mid-week 7:00PM Lenten worship. Those completing the course will be able to receive their First Communion on either Palm Sunday or Maundy Thursday. If you plan to have your child attend these classes contact Karl Fink by Friday, March 3rd.

Ways we would like YOUR help in the Easter Egg Hunt this year:
- Pray for the kids and parents attending, that the seeds of faith will be planted and watered during this event.
- Bake some delicious snacks for those attending.
- Volunteer to help stuff the children’s goodie bags.
- Help the day of the event: hide the Easter eggs, help set up tables, decorate the gym and hunt locations, help families with the crafts, arrange the refreshments, and watch the excitement on the little ones’ faces.
Please prayerfully consider how you can lend a hand and sign up at the Connections Table on Sunday morning, see a member of the Board of Evangelism, or contact Sarah O’Conner by leaving a message with the church office.

Are You Receiving The Bethany Bullet?
The Bethany Bullet is a weekly capsule of worship highlights and big information that your brain may or may not have 'downloaded' from the prior Sunday. The purpose is to bolster you in faith, build you up in the key Biblical themes shared the previous Sunday in worship, to bring to mind the important issues on Bethany's plate and to broaden your awareness of opportunities of service to your Lord, your church, and your community. Tell a friend about The Bethany Bullet. Email Aimee Coleman (email@example.com) with your name and email address to be added to the distribution list.
