The Summit (gr. 4-6) – Save the Date!
Parents of 4th/5th/6thGraders, The Summit (Saturday, April 1) is a one day event sponsored by the Pacific Southwest District of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod specifically geared for 4th through 6th graders. Registration forms will be in both the church and school office, or online at www.psdyouth.net/the-summit. Early registration is due by Friday, March 3rd and is $60. Late registration is due by Thursday, March 23rd and it will then cost $70. If you have any questions contact DCE Intern Nathan Linehan by email (email@example.com).
What is Club 35?
It is our new ministry to students in 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade and their families. Club 35 meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM for songs, games, an energetic lesson, and much more. Also, Club 35 will sponsor family events throughout the school year. Be on the lookout for more information coming soon. The fun starts on September 8th you don't want to miss it!!
Do you hear that sound?
It’s that wonderful sound of school bells ringing, children playing on the playground, and quiet mornings at home. Many parents are relieved when summer is over and the regular routine of the school year begins. Don’t get me wrong, I love summer, I love the trips to the beach and the park. I love the excitement of what they day might bring. Studies show that children thrive in an environment where there is routine. Children may not express it, but for many, school actually helps them process life. Going to church does many of the same things. The regular pattern of coming into God’s house is comforting to children and can help strengthen the bonds between family members.
Worshiping faithfully and forming spiritually are at the heart of what we do at Bethany. In order to support families we have developed a new program called CLUB 35. While CLUB 35 focuses on students in 3rd, 4th & 5th grade, it really is a tool to help families set patterns and routines in the walk of faith.
CLUB 35 meets every Sunday at 9:30AM for songs, games, an energetic lesson, and much more. Also, CLUB 35 will sponsor family events throughout the school year. These events are meant to help families learn together and play together in a safe environment.

IMPORTANT Forms to have on file:
*Turn in completed forms to the church office, Attn: Pr. Seth Moorman.
- Year Long Youth Ministry Permission Form (Sept2016-Aug2017) - Make sure that you have this form on file to participate in ALL YOUTH Events. Forms are available in the Youth Center if you need to fill one out or click on the link to print a copy. *Please NOTE: We are in the process of redoing our release forms. They are currently pending council approval. There is a possibility that you will be asked to fill out the new forms once they are made available.
- Use of Personal Automobile Form (Sept2016-Aug2017) - PARENTS...if you are a driver for any youth event, please fill out this form and have one on file for this school year.
