The Board of Evangelism would like to ask the congregation for their help in spreading the "seeds" of the great news of our Lord's Resurrection by inviting non Bethany members to join us for our Easter Sunday services. We will have a table set up in Friendship Square on March 26th & April 2nd between services and on April 9th at our One Service on Palm Sunday with packets of flower seeds that have an invitation to join us for our Easter services on them. We ask that you come by and take as many as you want to put on your neighbors' front porches, hand out to co-workers (if permitted at your place of employment), and give to other parents at your children's sporting practices/games, etc. We appreciate your help in "growing" our membership at Bethany, while spreading the great news of Jesus Christ.
Do you like riding bicycles?
Haven’t been riding for awhile, or just need some motivation? Let’s get together for a beginner ride once a month; riding on Saturdays 4/1, 5/6 and 6/3. Meet at Long Beach Town Center, Sam’s Club gas station parking lot for introductions, safety briefing and pictures. We will roll out for 10 – 12 mile easy pace ride to Seal Beach.
Bring bike and helmet; good to bring water and spare tube too. Please let Greg Goebel know if you’re attending or have questions; call the church office for Greg's contact information. Ride dates and meeting time: 4/1, 5/6 and 6/3 at 8:00am.
Do you know of someone who is a shut-in and would like a visit from Pastor, an Elder, or from myself (your DCE)? We have a list in the church office of those that we regularly visit and take Communion. If you have someone that we might add to that list, please contact our church secretary, Cindy Morrison or I and we would be happy to get that process started. If you have any questions about our Shut-In Ministry, please contact me at email@example.com or call ext. 19. - Karl Fink, DCE

Are You Receiving The Bethany Bullet?
The Bethany Bullet is a weekly capsule of worship highlights and big information that your brain may or may not have 'downloaded' from the prior Sunday. The purpose is to bolster you in faith, build you up in the key Biblical themes shared the previous Sunday in worship, to bring to mind the important issues on Bethany's plate and to broaden your awareness of opportunities of service to your Lord, your church, and your community. Tell a friend about The Bethany Bullet! Email Aimee Coleman (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your name and email address to be added to the distribution list.
